TORONTO FIREFIGHTER’S TOY DRIVE 2020 – A CALL FOR DONATIONS

Calling all Holiday Elves!

We hope you are having a fabulous Holiday Season so far, and are enjoying quality time with your loved ones. 

We want to take a quick break from your holiday shopping to bring up a very important cause that is near & dear to our hearts. It is always important to remember those less fortunate during this time of year, where it is so easy to get wrapped up in our own shopping. Sometimes we need a reminder to stop and be grateful for all that we have and think about ways we can make a positive impact in our own communities, too.

This year, we want to bring a special focus to children – it is our mission to make an impact and help bring joy to kids who otherwise might not be so fortunate as to be receiving gifts under their tree this year, with the help of The Toronto Firefighters Toy Drive. This is a cause that is close to our hearts and we really want to help make a difference in the lives of children this holiday season. 

The Toronto Firefighters Toy Drive is a non-profit charity that works to help children & families in need. They collect new, unopened toys via generous donations from the community that help thousands of families celebrate the holidays each year. It is run exclusively through the help of volunteers, including both active & retired Firefighters. 

We are hosting our first Toy Drive for the Toronto Firefighters’ efforts this year. Here is how you can donate:

1. In Person: Drop by our office anytime between 10:00am – 4:00pm from Monday December 7, 2020 – Thursday December 10, 2020 to drop off your donations. We are located at 160 Tycos Drive, Unit 224, Toronto, ON, M6B 1W8. Please give us a call upon your arrival at 416-670-1807.

2. Curbside: We can also accept curbside drop-offs at our office between 10:00am – 4:00pm from Monday December 7, 2020 – Thursday December 10, 2020. Please give us a call at 416-670-1807 and we will come down to meet you outside the building. 

3. Monetary Donations: If you wish to provide a monetary donation directly to The Toronto Firefighters Toy Drive, you can follow this link to DONATE

4. Amazon: You can also pick out something fun to donate to them directly using their Amazon Wish List – just follow this link to get started.

Please note: If you are looking to donate a physical gift and drop it off to us for delivery, the gift must be new, unopened and boxed. Gift card donations are also accepted and encouraged for gifting to older children. 

We are so excited to get involved this year with this noble cause. Kids deserve to have a wonderful and memorable holiday, regardless of the state of our country right now. Remember: Santa Claus is an essential service and we want to help him however we can.
